For our market niche small business owners, let me take a moment to discuss our repurposing and time-shifting strategy with the Slidecast you just watched.

1. Invite a market recognized expert for a time-sensitive (them + audience attention span) interview. Jonathan is a entrepreneur rock-star! I asked nicely and he said YES. I did have to hire a NYC translator to understand him…
   
2. Choose a format for your interview. I decided to try something new where I recorded our interview using Audio Acrobat on my phone and then uploaded both my presentation containing the questions I asked Jonathan and our MP3 audio recording from Audio Acrobat to produce a Slide Cast on www.slideshare.net.
3. I search engine optimized this slidecast by entering in relevant SEO terms such as, Jonathan Fields, Career Renegade, etc… so this slidecast may be found when people are searching for more information about Jonathan or The Virtual Business Gym.
4. Provide a link to the person you are interviewing (Jonathan) so he may decide to either link back to this blog (thus increasing my blog visibility) or enable him to embed the code to this slidecast so Jonathan may upload and promote on his popular blog.
5. From an adult learning standpoint the combination of audio and visual will assist in learning vs. just an audio file.
