For our market niche small business owners, let me take a moment to discuss our repurposing and time-shifting strategy with the slidecast you just watched.
- Invite a market recognized expert for a time-sensitive (them + audience attention span) interview.
- Choose a format for your interview. I decided to try something new where I recorded our interview using Audio Acrobat on my phone and then uploaded both my presentation containing the questions I asked Pam and our MP3 audio recording from Audio Acrobat to produce a Slide Cast on www.slideshare.net.
- I search engine optimized this slidecast by entering in relevant SEO terms such as, Pamela Slim, Escape From Cubicle Nation, etc… so this slidecast may be found when people are searching for more information about Pam or The Virtual Business Gym.
- Provide a link to Pamela Slim so she may decide to either link back to this blog (thus increasing my blog visibility) or enable her to embedd the code to this slidecast so she may upload and promote on to her own blog.
- From an adult learning standpoint the combination of audio and visual will assist in learning vs. just an audio file.
