I learned long-ago that you can make friends when you can cook.
So I cook.
Sometimes I wing-it and create without any regard for precise measurements or ingredients. Other times, I follow the cookbook recipe exactly.
In our business, I believe we can develop a “revenue producing” cookbook for repeatable success.
Here are my brief thoughts:
- What are those activities in your business that if consistently done Monday-Friday between the hours of 8AM-5PM with the right attitude, behavior, and best-practice technique will place you in a position to earn revenue?
- When you are in doubt about what to do or how to spend your time, just pick one of those “revenue producing” ingredients and do it.
The revenue producing ingredients you determine will become your business cookbook.
Replace flour and yeast & stir with talk to a decision maker, get a YES or No, and mix generously and you have a perfect recipe for your success.
