From Twitter to Project Discussion

Still think Twitter is only a social thing and can’t evolve into a project discussion?

Here is a Twitter conversation played-out in almost real-time today between me and Matthew Walker of Inner Passage.

I want to point-out that Matthew & I engaged in sharing information vs. trying to sell stuff on our Tweets. That’s what makes this conversation and a Twitter strategy based on freely giving 140 characters worth of unique, practical, and relevant content for one’s ideal market niche so cool and easy.

Who knows what cool stuff The Strategic Incubator and Matthew Walker of Inner Passage can do together?

What is certain is that Twitter provided the social conversation meeting place for us to engage in a personal discussion.

What I find on Twitter is either people are stalkers and they send you lame Auto Direct Messages and links to crazy get rich quick stuff or people don’t know how to engage in a meaningful and transparent conversation that may or may not lead to further discussions.

  1. I don’t even know where to begin.

    I have basically assembled my dream team all from Twitter. I found my web designer sending a tweet asking for web help. I found a p.r. person on accident after a few engaging Tweets. I found my copy guy through a referral from a twitter friend.

    I have connected with several high power individuals in my niche that currently are acting as mentors. I have met countless folks who have volunteered their time and skills to help me with one thing or another. The list goes on and on.

    Ironically I met Matt Walker through Twitter. Matt and I have forged a great connection that has led to multiple opportunity’s. I look forward to growing that relationship with Matt and others.
